Please examine the November issue of the National Geographic. The headline "Was Darwin Wrong?" might catch your eye. 2500 years ago a primitive tribe in the deserts of the Middle East  noticed the unity, the idea that something unitary (now we seek to understand the Grand Unified Theory of physics) underlies creation, that gods and demons didn't regulate Nature. However, they didn't have eyes to see the depth and splendor of it. We are developing such eyes. Consider being able to understand and marvel at the real world without theistic explanations. Also consider the possibility of living by ethics that put nurturing and encouraging other people first. George Lakoff's thinking is a good reference point.
